Welcome to the NZAC National Indoor Bouldering Series 2010
27 April 2010 - 2:14pm, Patricia DeavollThis is a new initiative for the NZAC and we know its going to be as much a hit as the National Bouldering Series held outdoors over the summer.
There will be four comps run between May and August, three in the North Island and one in the South Island.
The first is in Christchurch at The Roxx on May 29th. This will be followed by Wellington (Hangdog) on June 26th, Auckland (Extreme Edge) on July 31st and Mount Maunganui (The Rockhouse) August 28th.
The objective of the series is:- to create a whole lot of fun.
- give people a reason to train over the long winter .
- give people an accessible event that they can take part inafter work.
- introduce people to the sport of bouldering in a fun non threatening environment.
- give the good guys a chance to show off.
- provide spectators with great show!
- highlight a great sport!
We have some fabulous sponsors for the event who will be delivering some quality prizes: Bivouac Outdoors, Uprising, Chalky Digits and, of course, the New Zealand Alpine Club.
